Lux Lust: Casette-tweed Marcel Jacket

OMG this jacket is to die for! J Crew’s Casette-tweed Marcel jacket actually made my eyes a little watery and is priced at $550 dollars which made me cry. This jacket is Chanel chic meets rock star royalty. Whatever happened to layaway, I wonder if I save 10 dollars a week how long it would take me to get this jacket? Somehow someway this jacket must be mine….hopefully a dynamic sale is in the near future. A GIRL CAN DREAM!

Lux Lust: Pencey Social Dress

So I modified this feature from “Lux Must” to “Lux Lust” because in these economic times luxury items no matter how bad you want them, aren’t a must anymore. Now on to the fun, this dress is absolutely stunning, and of course out of my price range at 420 dollars. There is no way that this dress is going to happen for me, but one can dream. It’s fitting that it's called the Social Dress, because with a beautiful drop back, just the right amount of soft silk chiffon appliqué, and the stunning eye catching blue/violet you are sure to get a lot of people wanting to start up a conversation with you. I’ll of course be “stalking” this because eventually it will go on sale and that’s when I’ll make my move! By the way kudos to the designer Pencey for creating this dress and a ton of other wonderful edgy items, and hats off of course to the wonderful buyers at shopbop.com.
