Style File Find of the Week: Cheap Monday Wedge Tight Jeans

Yeah, the 80’s called but they can’t have these jeans back. I straight up love these jeans they remind of the jeans that I had with the leather on the front back in the day. Cheap Monday’s Wedge Tight Jean manages to give you a throw back flair with the leather plus jeans mix but with an updated flair with the placement. As with all Cheap Monday jeans the price is a fairly reasonable 65 bucks, well at least to a jean hoarder like myself. I do have to give fair warning the “tight” in the description of the jeans is not a mistake, the company tends to make two type of jeans one with a fair amount of lycra and one with minimal lycra this one is the latter so I advise you to go 1 size up from your normal “Cheap Monday size”. Crimes of Fashion: Cheap Monday Nina Short

Let me first start off by saying I l-o-v-e Cheap Monday jeans they are hands down one of my favorite companies. That being said I h-a-t-e the companies Nina Short, no short or jean should accentuate that little lower abdominal section (sometimes referred to as the pooch) that is so hard to work off regardless of how many hours of cardio you log in at the gym. Seriously the first thing I though was “mom jean shorts” when I saw them on the website the second thing was “why are these thing 65 dollars the same price as full length pants?” One thing I will give them is the length which is especially nice for someone like me who rarely shows much leg. Now this is all just my opinion, but if you want to look like you’re in the early stages of pregnancy you can pick your Nina Shorts up at Urban Outfitters.

P.S. And yes they are also pleated....the horror

Denim of the Week: Cheap Monday V Fit

What can I say about Cheap Monday Jeans other than I love them! This Swedish brand lives up to part of its name being cheap and yes I consider 65 dollars cheap for a spectacular “designer” brand! One big warning these jeans are some of the skinniest of the skinny (this trend is going nowhere) and going one size up is a MUST. I currently own 3 pairs myself, and I’m obsessing about the new V-Fit Jean, which also gets the high waist trend into the mix. The angled placement of the front pocket on the V-Fit style is unique and will have people asking you where you to them or at least giving you a double take. Place these jeans with a simple white v neck t shirt and cute pair of heels and you’re ready for a night on the town!
