Lux Lust: Casette-tweed Marcel Jacket

OMG this jacket is to die for! J Crew’s Casette-tweed Marcel jacket actually made my eyes a little watery and is priced at $550 dollars which made me cry. This jacket is Chanel chic meets rock star royalty. Whatever happened to layaway, I wonder if I save 10 dollars a week how long it would take me to get this jacket? Somehow someway this jacket must be mine….hopefully a dynamic sale is in the near future. A GIRL CAN DREAM!

Accessory Find of the Week: Zoe Split Sunglasses

Yeah I know it’s winter, but I live in the Bay Area and it was actually warm last Friday, and we all know the sun will occasionally come out during California “winters”. That being said I of course couldn't resist the spectacular Zoe Split Sunglasses from American Apparel. Talk about shades of Mary Kate Olsen * cough* Chanel clearly making these glasses for the brave fashionista. The darkest part of the lens is insanely dark so don’t plan on doing any extensive driving in them, these little babies are all about fashion not function and isn't that sometimes how we like it? I have to say with the economy they are a little pricey at $75 bucks, but the frames are optical quality, and the lens style is unique and compared to the throw away 18 buck sunglasses and the designer brand sunglasses that are up to 200 dollars plus this is a happy medium.

Beauty Find of the Week: Chanel Leveres Scintillantes Glossimer in Delight

Who would have ever thought Fall make up would have as much shimmer, and lightness as Chanel Fall 2008’s does. My personal favorite of the collection isn’t all the gold that people are raving over but one simple lipgloss. I’m crushing on Chanel’s LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES Glossimer in Delight. Delight is a ultra shimmery and uber reflective lilac that adds fullness and texture to your lips. Seriously Delight really reminds me of lamé leggings for your lips like disco exploded on your lips(looks much better than it sound I promise). Now for the insane news since it's Chanel it is priced at an astronomical 28 bucks, which I seriously think is ridiculous yet I’m still willing to shell it out just this once because the color is just too amazing, and also limited edition. You can pick up this color at your local Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, or anywhere that Chanel cosmetics are sold.

Beauty Find of the Week: Chanel Robertson Blvd Nail Polish

I for one am all for beauty trends, I can’t get enough hence two beauty post in one week. Beauty is a much easier and cheaper way to take a risk as apposed to fashion. Now Chanel decided to follow the vibrant nail polish trend (I love it) with the upcoming introduction of their new Robertson Blvd Nail Polish collection which includes 4 wonderful shades: Sunrise (Bright yellow), L.A. Sunset (Blood Orange), Rodeo Drive (Royal Purple), and Melrose (Vibrant pink). Why all the LaLa Land names well it’s homage to a new Chanel store opening on the celeb super high way a.k.a North Roberson Blvd. I'm sure some of you are thinking what I'm thinking , Chanel should show some love to the Bay Area with some NoCal inspired colors like, Golden Gate (deep reddish orange), The Bay (Metallic Greenish Blue), The Haight (matte black with gold and silver shimmer), and Silicon Valley (matte grey with gold shimmer). Enough dreaming the real colors will be in stores June 1st, and they are limited edition only so hurry!
