Bag It: Deena & Ozzy Split Tote

I don’t even have the words to describe this black and white stunner! Okay I lied I do have the words, the Deena & Ozzy Split Tote is a super cute canvas and leather-like tote that is perfect for a day at the office or a day at the beach ( preferably a beach somewhere tropical). Best yet you can’t go wrong with the go to neutrals of black and white making this a match for many outfits. Only downside is it’s pretty big which means you’ll probably be placing all the things you don’t need into it…but hey more to love more to love. Oh and the price tag for this expensive looking stunner is a doable 58 bucks, Happy Shopping!

Bag It: Forever 21 Canvas Handbags

I absolutely love these wonderful little tribal inspired retro canvas handbags from Forever 21. I was walking though the store a few weeks back and these were the first things that caught my eye. The handbags were shown in the store without the straps showing and that’s probably how I would wear mine (I would just cut the straps totally and clutch it out). In person the bags look a lot richer and more expensively made than they probably really are, even the cotton lining is well done. The stained wood accents are real not plastic and the outside canvas is thick and seems to be durable and would add a little fashion to any plain outfit. Each bag is 23.80 each a real steal.

Bag It: Big Buddha Handbags

Let me just start off by saying I’m not a vegan hell I’m not even a vegetarian for that matter, but I do have to say I’m “eco conscious”. Mix my eco consciousness with my love for fashion and beauty and as you can see a lot of my post have a eco twist. Well this post about Big Buddha handbags is no different. Big Buddha handbags is a line right out of my own beachy back yard ( Santa Cruz baby!) that features a mixture of eco friendly materials like synthetic leather. Don’t let the non-leather aspect fool you, Big Buddha gets big press and has been featured in fashion forward magazines such as Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, InStyle, and Lucky. Prices vary, from $35 to about $90 dependant on the style and the size. You can pick up Big Buddha designs at the following Bay Area locations: De La Sole, Q & J Boutique, Ama, Ambiance ,Weston Wear, Ruby, Jest Jewels. Online store locations include my own online store and check out Big Buddha for more Fall 08 looks .

Bag It: Matt & Nat Grandmaster Bag

photo cred: matt and nat

This purse company is for the conscious shopper as well as the plain old purse lover. Matt and Nat is a cruelty handbag/bag, wallet brand created by Canadian by way of England by way of South Asia designer Inder Bedi in 2000. Although I’m not a cruelty purist (I’ve been known to carry leather) I do love when I can find a wonderful bag I know nothing died to create. I’m currently drooling over all of Matt and Nat’s stuff but, my current favorite has to be the Grandmaster Bag. The style can be worn across the body or sported as a hand held. My personal favorite in this style is the vegan-leather mod version in black and the Japanese Paper Version in bone although the Re-Run version (shown) is starting to grown on me. The size and compartments make it a perfect work to weekend transition bag and at a $160 price tag it’s a well deserved treat. You can find even more of Matt and Nat’s bags here.
Update: The Grand Master bag and many other Matt and Nat products are now available at my new online store.
