I’m staying up late last night as usual and I catch the CBS 5 news and they had a consumer report on makeup. The consumer report was regarding cosmetics companies in department stores, the high prices, and the fact that these items are never placed on sale. Great news is since this is class action lawsuit you can be compensated if you are a beauty fiend like I am. So if you have purchased certain cosmetics brands from a department store ( Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc) from May 1994- July 2003 then you can sign up for eligibility, and you don’t have to show any receipts. Of course there is controversy surrounding this, but controversy aside haven’t you always wondered why everything in the store goes on sale other than cosmetics?
