Denim of the Week: Lux Pin Up & Equinox Jean

The skinny jean is here to stay, and I’m damned happy about it! When the style first reappeared I was a little leery about it, you know I though they would make my thighs look like sausage. To my surprise they didn’t and it’s been a love affair ever since. Lux a line carried by Urban Outfitters keeps coming up with ways to keep the skinny jean look fresh by mixing it up and not just doing the basic 5 pocket look. The first of my new favorite "skinnies" are Lux’s Equinox Skinny Jean which have some great detailing in lieu of front pockets, as well as a really cute yet non functional belt loops on the front and back. The Pin Up Jean is a sexier pocket less version with its biggest twist being the tulip hem at the back of the ankle and the wonderful slimming seaming on the front and back of the legs.
